Rookies

Newcastle Basketball’s U/8 & U/10 Rookies League is the perfect introduction to our junior club competition.

With qualified coaches and uniforms provided, all you need to do is show up and have fun.

Games are played on lowered hoops, and feature modified rules to help players score more baskets and develop confidence and ball skills.

Games are 30 minutes in length (2 x 15min halves) with a 15 minute skill session at half time. 

Players can join by themselves and we will include you in a team, or make a team with friends and join together.

2012 Term 1 Rookies commences Thursday, February 2nd.
